Toyota Supra A90 Final Edition & Track Edition
29 November 2024
Toyota have announced the current A90 GR Supra will end production with two run out models - a ‘Track Edition’ for Australia and a more powerful ‘Final Edition’ for other markets.
A new generation of Supra will enter production with rumours suggesting it will be powered by a hybrid four-cylinder. 2025 will be the final production year for the current A90 model, which was developed with BMW.
Overseas markets are to receive a more powerful version of the current 3.0-litre single-turbo inline-six and bigger brakes, racing suspension, aggressive rear spoiler and sticker rubber. This ‘Final Edition’ will only be offered with a manual gearbox and production limited to just 300 cars worldwide.
It feels like Australia is missing out on the most desirable final A90 Supra. It will be interesting to see which car Toyota Gazoo Racing enters in the Supercars Championship in 2026.

Australia will get a ‘Track Edition’ in mid-2025, with no power gains but will benefit from sharper handling due to some chassis upgrades.
